The goal is to get Kalee as high as possible by jumping from platform to platform without falling. To help the progression, it is possible to tinker ladders or to call her friends, Pleat the bird and Lopion the butterfly. The climb is slowed down by different enemies and smaller and smaller platforms.

Additional Notes
- This school project was awarded the best results by the jury.
- The architecture of the game and the menu system is based on the book SFML Game Development. I particularly enjoyed the reading of the latter, which I found being accessible and very well explained. It allows to achieve a solid base, while remaining simple and flexible. This is a reading that I highly recommend to any beginner in the field, envious of programming a desktop 2D game in C ++. The various aspects of a 2D game are approached in a progressive way, while being accompanied by the source code โ freely available on GitHub.
- Assets have been made or modified with Adobe Photoshop.
- Not having the skills to make an animation for Kalee (the red-haired heroine) broke my heart. Poor girl.
